Holiday Accidents*
If you have been injured in an accident while on holiday with your family or alone, whether abroad or in Ireland, you may be able to bring a claim if the accident was caused by the fault or negligence of another party.
Accident outside Ireland
Often when a person is injured abroad, their primary concern is to get home safely, and it will not often be in mind at the time that they may be entitled to compensation. If you have retuned home and have not contacted the party responsible, it may still be possible to bring a claim.
Accident in Ireland
If you have had an accident while on holiday in Ireland, and it is the fault of another party, you may be entitled to bring a claim for compensation against the wrongdoer. This applies to people resident in Ireland or people not resident in Ireland.
